Entries are now open for the 2026 New Zealand Track and Field Championships.
The 2026 edition of the championships will be held in Auckland at the Douglas Track and Field, Trusts Arena, from the 5th to the 8th of March 2026. Athletes seeking to compete in senior, under-20, under-18 and under-16 championship grades are invited to enter the championships.
The New Zealand Track and Field Championships return to Auckland for the first time in 13 years, and will see New Zealand’s top athletes from age groups to open compete for national titles over the full gamut of track and field events.
The draft untimed programme is also available. The program will be finalised and timed once entries have closed and final athlete numbers are known. View the draft untimed programme here.
Standard entries close at 11:59 PM Monday, 16 February 2026.
Late entries close at 11:59 PM Wednesday, 18 February 2026.
No entries will be accepted after the “late entry closing date” under any circumstances.
