Athletics NZ is pleased to announce that Mel Aitken has been selected to represent New Zealand at the 2026 IAU World 100km Championships, which will be held in Ames, Spain on 20 September 2026.

Mel recently took out the 2025 IAU 100K Asia & Oceania Championships title in a time of 9:04:14. Lining up in Bangkok, Thailand.
We wish Mel every success as she prepares for the championships and look forward to seeing her perform in Ames.
