Post the 2025 New Zealand Cross Country Championships, it was identified that there were some irregularities within the Competition Regulations for these Championships. Previous updates intended the inclusion of Under 16’s Men’s and Women’s Centre Team races. As well as the uniforms they should wear. However, these were overlooked when updating the regulations.

C6.1.4 – states that there will be Centre Teams for the Boys Under 16 and Girls Under 16 grades, however previously under Note D in this section it stated that there shall be no Centre Teams Races for Boys and Girls Under 16. This contradiction has now been removed to clarify that there is in fact Centre Teams Races for both Under 16’s Grades.
C6.1.8 – As there are Under 16’s Centre Teams races C6.1.8 was intended to allow Under 16’s to wear Centre Uniforms as they compete in a Centre Teams competition. This updating of this regulation was overlooked and has now been corrected. Clarifying that Under 16’s Men and Women can compete in their Centre Uniforms.
